Il Fano Jazz By the Sea nasce ufficialmente nel 1993 come proposta alternativa sulla costa del festival jazz più prestigioso d’Italia, l’Umbria Jazz. Nel corso degli anni ha ospitato i più grandi artisti del panorama jazz nazionale (Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu, Roberto Gatto, Stefano Bollani e Raphael Gualazzi), ma anche internazionale, quali Maceo Parker, Omar Sosa e BB King. Si propone ogni anno a luglio una settimana ricca di musica in uno dei contesti più suggestivi della città, la Rocca Malatestiana di Fano.
Fano Jazz By the Sea was officially founded in 1993 as an alternative to the coast of the most prestigious jazz festival in Italy, Umbria Jazz. Over the years it has hosted the greatest artists of the national jazz scene (Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu, Roberto Gatto, Stefano Bollani and Raffaele Gualazzi), but also internationally, such as Maceo Parker, Omar Sosa and BB King. Every year a week full of music is proposed in one of the most evocative contexts of the city, the Rocca Malatestiana of Fano.
