Il Parco regionale del Conero è un’area naturale protetta delle Marche, istituita nel 1987 e che si estende sul promontorio omonimo, in provincia di Ancona. Si trova a circa un’ora di auto dall’agriturismo proseguendo verso Sud in direzione Ancona. Posto per chi ama spiagge incontaminate e mare cristallino; offre visuali mozzafiato del promontorio che affonda direttamente nel mare. La spiaggia di Mezzavalle è la più vicina venendo da Nord e risulta la più selvaggia, data l’impossibilità di accedere con i mezzi. Per raggiungerla basta lasciare l’auto parcheggiata lungo la strada principale e scendere alla spiaggia su un piccolo percorso di trekking. Poco più a Sud si trova il villaggio di Portonovo, raggiungibile in auto e meta di amanti dell’ottima cucina anconetana. Celebre è la cucina del ‘mosciolo’, un mollusco che ha tutte le sembianze di una cozza ma cresce e si riproduce spontaneamente nelle scogliere di quest’area protetta. Navigando sempre verso Sud, a pochi chilometri, si raggiungono le celebri località di mare di Sirolo e Numana, da cui partono giornalmente traghetti per visitare il famoso scoglio delle Due Sorelle, da cui prende il nome la spiaggia davanti.

To reach it just leave the car parked along the main road and get off at the beach on a small trekking path. A little further to the south is the village of Portonovo, reachable by car and a destination of lovers of excellent Anconetan cuisine. Famous is the kitchen of the ‘mosciolo’, a mollusc that has all the appearance of a mussel but it grows and spontaneously reproduces on the cliffs of this protected area. Navigating to the south, a few kilometers, you will reach the famous seaside resorts of Sirolo and Numana, from which daily ferries depart to visit the famous rocks of the Two Sisters, from which the name of the beach is called.
