La Gola del Furlo si trova a circa 35 chilometri dall’agriturismo e si può raggiungere comodamente in una mezz’ora di auto prendendo la SS73bis. E’ situata lungo il tracciato originario della via Flaminia, nel tratto in cui questa costeggia il fiume Candigliano, affluente del Metauro nella provincia di Pesaro-Urbino, nel comune di Fermignano.
La gola si è formata tra il monte Pietralata (889 m) e il monte Paganuccio (976 m) e offre ai visitatori meravigliosi scorci panoramici, dovuti alla presenza dei due grandi massicci calcarei che delimitano il corso d’acqua che si tinge di magnifici colori smeraldini.
Nel febbraio del 2001 è stata istituita la Riserva Naturale Statale Gola del Furlo, la quale rappresenta un autentico paradiso. La suggestione del paesaggio si unisce a una prodigiosa ricchezza naturalistica che vanta esemplari di flora e fauna davvero singolari. Questo territorio ha una straordinaria importanza dal punto di vista paesaggistico, geologico, geomorfologico, paleontologico, floristico e faunistico.
Numerosi sono gli avvistamenti dell’Aquila Reale, che rappresenta il simbolo della Riserva e tra i mammiferi è doveroso sottolineare la presenza del Lupo.
L’intero territorio della Riserva è caratterizzato dalla presenza di molto sentieri escursionistici di tutte le difficoltà, in cui è possibile organizzare escursioni con guida esperta. Per informazioni si faccia riferimento al sito indicato sottostante.

The Furlo Pass is about 35 km from the farm and you can reach it comfortably in half an hour by car taking the SS73bis. It is located along the original route of Via Flaminia, in the stretch of the river Candigliano, affluent of the Metauro in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, in the municipality of Fermignano.
The gorge was formed between Mount Pietralata (889 m) and Mount Paganuccio (976 m) and offers visitors wonderful panoramic views due to the presence of the two large limestone massifs that delineate the water course that is tinged with magnificent colors emerald.
